3D-Encoding Display In article number 2401659, Tao Chen, Wei Lu, Chuanzhuang Zhao, and co-workers propose a supramolecular host-guest interaction gating strategy that is capable of dynamically programming or even gating the thermo-responsiveness of smart hydrogel actuators after material manufacture. Thus, a robust chemical-gated 3D-encoding information carrier with enhanced display security is demonstrated by replicating the chemical-gated actuation control function of cephalopods' skin muscles for on-demand color/pattern display.
