Research on Electricity Energy Market Trading Mechanism Based on Electricity-Carbon Linkage

Currently, the environmental constraints faced by China’s power industry are changing from the control of conventional pollutants such as soot and sulfur dioxide to carbon emission control, and it is the future trend to promote the construction of low-carbon power market and the transformation of clean energy. Promoting the direct or indirect coupling of power market and carbon market is an important way to reduce carbon emissions in the power industry and promote clean substitution of electric energy. This paper firstly analyzes how the power market and carbon market affect each other, and designs a trading mechanism for the power-carbon linkage market by combining the typical scenarios of power-carbon linkage, and finally verifies that the proposed trading mechanism has a certain effect on improving the level of renewable energy consumption and reducing the cost of power purchasing by the users through the arithmetic examples.
