Coordinated Optimization of Repair Scheduling and Service Restoration for Distribution Network Considering the Damaged Roads

Extreme natural disasters can cause catastrophic damages to both the equipment of the distribution network and road segments of the transportation network, impeding the traveling of fault repair crews (FRCs) for the distribution network. Besides, the restoration efficiency of the distribution network is highly dependent on the timely supply of requisite emergency resources at the faulted points during the repair process of the distribution network. In this context, this paper proposes a coordinated optimization of repair scheduling and service restoration for the distribution network considering the damaged roads and the transportation of emergency resources. Firstly, a coupled transportation-distribution network information network is constructed, and rational simplification is carried out based on the locations of faulted points and damaged roads to form the simplified coupling network to relieve the computational burden. Then, a coordinated optimization of repair scheduling and service restoration for the distribution network that integrates the damaged road repair in the transportation network, the fault repair in the distribution network, and the resource scheduling is proposed to improve the repair and restoration efficiency for the distribution network. The constraints related to the repair of damaged roads in the transportation network based on the simplified coupling network are proposed to mitigate the impacts of damaged roads on optimal FRCs' traveling paths.
