Three-component approach to modular synthesis of tetra-substituted furans and pyrroles

A three-component one-pot reaction of TMSCF 2 Br, p -QMs and 1,3-dicarbonyl compounds and derivatives was developed. A series of densely functionalized tetra-substituted furans and pyrroles were constructed with excellent chemoselectivities.
