compared to those in CUMS mice. Our work demonstrates that D-9 alleviated anxiety- and depression-like disorders in CUMS mice by modulating tryptophan metabolism and the gut microbiota. These findings provide an innovative strategy for the intervention and treatment of depressive disorders.
