Oligosaccharide Biomaterials In article number 2304655, Jian Xiao, Lei Dong, Chunming Wang, and co-workers report the first-ever oligosaccharide called OG6 (it is a string of six sugar rings in the structure) that can promote hair growth. The authors discovered it by ‘unmasking’ its hidden activity from a longer molecule. Therefore, in this image, they illustrate OG6 as a winning ‘lottery’ comprising six sugar balls. When the curtain ascends (‘unmasking’) , the OG6 balls roll out and light up the golden coins below. These coins represent hair follicles - shining, floating, and entering the hair growth phase (‘anagen’), as a consequence of OG6's magic power!
