Control Parameters Optimization for MMC-HVDC Transmission System with New Energy Weak AC Grid

The high proportion of new energy and power electronic equipment in the power system presents significant challenges to its stability. In new power systems, large-scale new energy is transmitted via MMC-HVDC through AC collection. The adaptability of converters to weak AC grids has been a growing concern in recent years. The selection of appropriate control parameters is crucial for ensuring stable, efficient, and reliable operation of the DC system. Therefore, this paper aims to study the modeling method of the state space model of MMC-HVDC and the AC new energy system against the background of the new energy weak AC grid. It constructs the small disturbance model of the MMC-HVDC transmission system of the new energy weak AC grid. For the new energy weak AC grid, the new energy power station is simplified as a single-ended MMC-HVDC system with fixed PQ control. The constant voltage source is connected in series with impedance to simulate the strength of the AC system in the AC grid. The MMC-HVDC electric power transmission uses a combination of conventional control strategies to model.
