Ku-band FMCW radar prototype for low-cost airborne SAR & altimetry acquisitions

An airborne SAR prototype using a Ku-band Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) RADAR is presented. It aims to provide low cost acquisitions and consequently to contribute to the quick creation of raw data banks for altimetry and Ku-band SAR whose configurations can be easily adapted to specific applications. The status of the prototype as well as on-going works are described through the article.
