Action Time Selection and Structure Design of Multi-Optimization Links for IPMSM Sensorless Drives with Square-wave Modulation

When the IPMSM traction system works in the flux-weakening-based square wave modulation, the characteristics include extremely low switching frequency and limited inverter output voltage, which bring new challenges to sensorless control implementation. From specificity of working condition, influence of current regulators, system delay and parameters on sensorless control are considered, and analyzing the collaborative design process. Finally, this paper proposes a sensorless collaborative optimization control method, which enables best action time selection and the optimal closed-loop structure design. The effectiveness of proposed strategy is verified by a 3.7kW IPMSM platform.
