Ferrocene/air double-mediated FeTiO 3 -photocatalyzed semi-heterogeneous annulation of quinoxalin-2(1 H )-ones in EtOH/H 2 O

With natural ilmenite as the heterogeneous photocatalyst, ferrocene and air as the homogeneous redox-catalysts, H-bonds as the promoter, and EtOH/H 2 O as the solvent, a semi-heterogeneous decarboxylative annulation of quinoxalin-2(1 H )-ones was developed.
