Optimization of Sparse Planar Arrays using Genetic Algorithms

This paper uses genetic algorithm for sparse layout optimization of square array and concentric ring array to verify the feasibility of using genetic algorithm to optimize sparse layout array, and compares the impact of four different array element layout methods on the maximum sidelobe level of the optimized antenna pattern.
