Effect of Dapagliflozin on Serum Uric Acid Levels in Patients with Advanced Chronic Kidney Disease

(CKD stage 3: 21 cases, stage 4: 10 cases). The differences in UA and fractional excretion of UA after three weeks and three months of prescription showed significantly decreased UA values and an increased fractional excretion of UA. Conclusion Our findings suggest that dapagliflozin can lower serum UA levels via increased UA excretion, even in patients with advanced CKD.
