Self-Synchronization Voltage Sources Control Method of New Energy Grid-Connected Inverter

Aiming at problems of active support and current control abilities in grid-connected mode, a self-synchronization voltage sources control method of new energy grid-connected inverter is proposed. Firstly, based on the active and reactive power of the system, a frequency and voltage active support control method with self-synchronization characteristics is introduced. Secondly, the balance current control is used to adjust the impedance characteristics between the internal potential of the self-synchronization voltage sources and the grid voltage, which can improve the current control ability under unbalanced voltage conditions. What’s more, the DC voltage collapse prevention control can be effectively applied to the photovoltaic self-synchronization voltage sources system to improve the stability of the DC voltage output. The simulation results show that the performance of the proposed method is significantly better than the traditional virtual synchronous generator (VSG) method. With the proposed self-synchronization control method, the current quality under three-phase unbalance voltage and grid voltage disturbance conditions can be ensured, and the overall performance of the new energy grid-connected inverter can be improved.
