Construction of Cd( ii )-based metal–organic frameworks incorporating SiF 6 2− as fluorescence sensors for arginine

Two novel Cd( ii )-based metal–organic frameworks are constructed from an imidazole-containing ligand and SiF 6 2− anions, and both of them exhibit a fluorescence sensing capacity for arginine via a turn-on effect.
