Traditional white light-emitting diodes (w-LEDs) have a cyan gap between 480 and 520 nm, which leads to the reduction of color vividness. Herein, a new combination strategy is proposed to prepare the full-spectrum w-LEDs: the blue phosphors and broad orange-yellow phosphors originated from Cs 2 NaInCl 6 are blended on an ultraviolet (UV) chip. We obtained the blue phosphors and broadband orange-yellow phosphors by introducing Sb 3+ and Ag + /Bi 3+, respectively, into Cs 2 NaInCl 6 . Cs 2 NaIn 0.97 Cl 6:0.03Sb 3+ and Cs 2 Na 0.9 Ag 0.1 In 1– y Cl 6: y Bi 3+ ( y = 0.03, 0.1, 0.2, 0.6, and 1) were employed for fabricating a series of full-spectrum w-LED devices with a 340 nm UV chip. The obtained white LED (Cs 2 NaIn 0.97 Cl 6:0.03Sb 3+ +Cs 2 Na 0.9 Ag 0.1 In 0.8 Cl 6:0.2Bi 3+ ) shows a high color rendering index of 93.6 and a low correlation color temperature (CCT = 4986 K). This work provides a new direction for the fabrication of full-spectrum w-LEDs.
