Synthesis, crystal structure and white luminescence of zero-dimensional organic–inorganic zinc halides

Three new Zn-based organic–inorganic metal halides (C 8 H 12 N) 2 ZnBr 4 (1), (C 9 H 14 N) 2 ZnBr 4 (2), and (C 9 H 14 NO) 2 ZnBr 4 (3) were synthesized, and these crystals with zero-dimensional structures all show white emission.
