Objectives This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (intervention). The objectives are as follows: Primary objective To quantify the dose‐related effects of various adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on systolic and diastolic blood pressure compared to placebo. Secondary objectives To quantify the dose‐related effect of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on heart rate. To quantify the dose‐related effects of adrenergic agonist oral decongestants on withdrawals due to adverse effects.
