Development of Ku-Band 200W radiation-cooled Space TWT

Traveling wave tube which use to amplify the microwave signal, In order to meet high-capacity requirement of communications satellite, a Ku-band 200W wave Space TWT has been designed in this paper. A dual-anode electronic gun, double taper helix slow wave structure, 4-stage depressed collector was successfully designed and developed to 200W, exceeded 67% overall efficiency at 1 GHz bandwidth.
