Direct synthesis of higher alcohols from syngas over modified Mo 2 C catalysts under mild reaction conditions

The RhK/Mo 2 C catalyst exhibited remarkable selectivity for higher alcohols synthesis from syngas under mild reaction conditions owing to the interface sites between Rh and Mo 2 C promoted by K, which greatly facilitated CO insertion.
