Study on the Influence of Angle of Attack on the Aerodynamic Performance of Aerospike Structure of Hypersonic Vehicle

In order to solve the huge aerodynamic-thermal load problem of hypersonic vehicle during flight, the aerodynamic performance of blunt body vehicle with aerospike structure under hypersonic flight was studied by numerical simulation method. The effect of angle of attack on configuration aerodynamic and aerothermal performance is analyzed. The numerical results show that the aerospike changes the flow field structure of the configuration head, forms a recirculation region of low temperature and low pressure locally, and effectively reduces the aerodynamic-thermal load of the main head of the configuration, and the angle of attack has a great influence on the aerodynamic-thermal characteristics of the configuration. As the angle of attack increases, the drag coefficient, lift coefficient and lift-to-drag ratio of the configuration increase gradually, but the change rate of lift-to-drag ratio decreases gradually. The existence of the angle of attack tilts the original flow field of the configuration, so that the heat flux on the windward side of the main head is much higher than that on the leeward side.
