VP11.05: The value of prenatal ultrasound in the diagnosis of fetal annular pancreas

To explore the value of prenatal ultrasound in the diagnose of fetal annular pancreas. 13 cases of fetal annular pancreas identified by neonatal surgery in our institution were included. Prenatal ultrasonographic features and clinical data of them were analysed and summarised. In 13 cases of fetal annular pancreas, the double bubble sign and wind pocket sign were visualised in all cases, the clamps sign was seen in 4 cases, amniotic fluid increased in 9 cases, and the beak sign was present in 7 cases. All infants underwent neonatal surgery immediately after birth and received favourable outcomes. Among them, there were 2 cases complicated with duodenal atresia and 1 case complicated with atypical malrotation. Identification of the clamp sign and the beak sign and the observation of the relationship between the end of the dilated duodenum and the pancreatic head can improve the accuracy of ultrasound findings for suspected fetal annular pancreas, which is of great value in prenatal diagnosis of fetal annular pancreas.
