An Optimal Strategy to Generate Optimal Electricity Plans via Big Data Technology

The deregulation of electricity market enables residential customers to select or switch to a suitable plan with low expenditure. We proposed an optimal pricing strategy for electricity providers by considering customers' willingness to switch to another plan and competition from other electricity providers. Firstly, plan-oriented clustering is investigated. Then, new competitive plans are put forward based on objective customers classes and current plans using Weber-Fechner law. In the end, promising numerical results of profit in different objective customer classes and different situations demonstrate that the proposed strategy could effectively provide electricity providers with more competitive plans.
