Development of a rollator with a driven chest pad

The authors are studying a rollator with a chest pad for the elderly. A motor that actively moves the chest pad was introduced. The number of load cells was increased from two to four to see the change in body pressure applied to the chest pad. A dedicated amplifier and a mounting stick PC have been introduced for load cell processing.
