COVID‐19—A Guide to Rapid Implementation of Telehealth Services

T he COVID-19 pandemic has triggered an unprecedented expansion in telemedicine across the United States and around the world (1). In an effort to slow the spread of disease, particularly in high-risk health care settings, the United States Secretary of Health and Human Services announced a directive (2) for broad utilization of telemedicine (3). This article is intended as a guide to the rapid implementation of telehealth services for pediatric gastroenterologists.
