Volumetric bioprinting enables the biofabrication of centimeter-scale 3D tissue constructs. In article number 1904209, Christophe Moser, Riccardo Levato, and co-workers load a cell-laden photoresponsive hydrogel reservoir on a rotating platform and expose it to visible-light tomographic projections. A printed model appears at once after a few tens of seconds, and the bioprinted stem cells retain high viability and functionality, showing potential for the engineering of complex vascularized tissue grafts.
