The simulation analyses of Jinnan ± 800kV UHVDC transmission control system based on PSCAD/EMTDC

Taking Jinnan ± 800kV ultra-high voltage direct current power transmission system as study object, this paper discusses simulation model of UHVDC by PSCAD /EMTDC (Power system computer aided design and electric magnetic transient in DC system). Compared with the waveform in actual engineering system debugging, the results of a series of simulation analyses show that the ± 800kV UHVDC system constructed is reliable. The simulation platform can deeply study the control system of UHVDC, which has the practical significance of engineering.
