A 50-W Broadband Mini-MPM for Electronic Countermeasure

In this paper, a new miniaturized microwave power modules (MPM) CKu501 for electronic countermeasure is proposed. With the overall dimension at 134 mm × 67 mm × 20 mm, it is significantly smaller than current existing MPMs, and offers a marked improvement in power density. The output power of this mini-MPM reaches 50 W across the operating frequency band of 6-18 GHz, with the overall efficiency greater than 32%. It can be reliably applied in the airborne conditions.
