Detection of Carbonic Anhydrase Activity after Electrophoresis and Immunoelectrophoretic Analysis

A histochemical method for carbonic anhydrase has been adapted to the study of this enzyme after electrophoresis on paper or agar and after immuno- electrophoresis. This technique allowed us to corroborate the existence of at least two isoenzymes. No immunological cross-reaction was observed between the two isoenzymes.
