The effect observation of procaterol in infantile bronchiolitis

Objective To observe the clinical effect of procaterol in infantile bronchiolitis.Methods 100 cases children with infantile bronchiolitis were randomly divided into treatment group(50 cases) and control group(50 cases).Control group were given conventional treatment,including oxygen,sedation and anti-virus such as budesonide inhalation.Treatment group plus were given procaterol 0.25ml/kg oral.After treatment,compared clinical efficacy,clinical symptoms disappeared time,treatment time and within 3 months after discharge breathing recurrence of two groups.Results The total effective rate of treatment group(96.0%) was higher than that of control group(80.0%),the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The cough,wheezing,chest wheezing disappeared time and treatment time of treatment group were shorter than those of control group,the difference were statistically significant(P0.05).Breathing relapse rate of two groups was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion Procaterol in infantile bronchiolitis has a good effect,is worthy of clinical application.
