The clinical study on minimally invasive incision and manipulation in the treatment of hallux valgus deformity

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of minimally invasive incision and manipulation in the treatment of hallux valgus deformity.Methods:From March 2008 to February 2009 in our hospital,42 cases of hallux valgus deformity were randomly divided into observation group(n=22)and control group(n=20).The control group was performed manipulation,the observation group was performed minimally invasive incision and manipulation,then the therapeutic effect of two groups was compared.Results:The excellent and good rate of observation group was 95.5%,and the control group was 65.0%,there was a significant difference between the two groups(χ2=4.481,P0.05).The observation group had fewer complications and shorter recovery time.Conclusion:Minimally invasive incision and manipulation in the treatment of hallux valgus deformity has definite therapeutic effect,less complications and rapid recovery,it is worth to be popularized.
