Brittleness of the General Systems

Based on the structural theory of general systems, this paper revises the defini tion of brittleness presented by Pro. Jing Honghzhang, and proves that bittlenes s is the common property of all general systems. Accrording to the mathematical analysis of the structural model of general systems, it is pointed out that the main factors that result in brittleness occurring of general systems include the disturbed intensities of random factors on the systems, interconnection intensi ties of the systems and their distributions. In adeition, the results show that if brittleness evolutional entropy of the systems is not zero, the evolutional r esults become uncertain.
