In this research the evaporative effects of Populus popular's and Populus alba var.pyramidalis shelter belts were measured by miniature evaporators, and the soil evaporations of the two shelterbelts were studied by thermal equilibrium. The results showed that the both shelterbelts could reduce soil evaporation effectively in forestry network, but the evaporation of P.popular's shelterbelt was more than that of P.alba var.'s, so it made the P.popular's forest had a remarkable effects on increase of humidity and decrease of temperature. There were not remarkable differences in soil evaporation at different shelter distance in two kinds of forestry networks .
