A Predetermination of the 3rd Blast Furnace Cylinder and Bottom Corrosion through Numerical Stimulation for Baoshan Steel Works

A finite element method is used to compute a heat transfering process of two dimensional and steady state happened inside the 3rd blast furnace cylinder and bottom in Baoshan Steel Works, and obtained the isothermal line, i.e, 1 150℃. This isothermal line can be regarded as the final decision line to termine the corrosion inside the blast furnace bottom. On the basis of the furnace bottom corrosion computing bottom. The software with a good man machine interface has been programmed. As the result, this software can reflect the corroding states of the 3rd furnace cylinder and bottom in Baoshan Steel Works under direct vision.
