Effect observation of characteristic health education applied to patients in thoracic surgery

Objective To investigate the efficacy of characteristic health education applied to patients in thoracic surgery.Methods 25 cases with lung and esophagus cancer during January to May in 2010 were chosen as the control group,while the other 25 cases during June to December in 2010 were chosen as the observation group.The control group was given ordinary health education,while the observation group was given characteristic health education.The degree of health education knowledge master and satisfaction of 2 groups were observed.Results The degree of satisfaction and skill and knowledge of health education of the observation group were better than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P0.01).Conclution Target-oriented characteristic heslth education can increase the efficacy of health education and the satisfaction degree of patients effectively.
