Coordinated Development Degree of Tourism Economy and Ecological Environment in Shanghai

Ecological environment is an important foundation for tourism sustainable development,and coordinated development between ecological environment and tourism economy has already caused the extensive concerns from more and more people.In recent years,the city tourism of Shanghai becomes a new growth spot in service-type economy along with city development into the new reforming stage.How to coordinate the protection of the city's ecological environment and developing the tourism economy strongly,is an important topic to be researched and solved not only at present but also in future.The paper explains the concept of the coordination,the coordinated development and the coordinated development degree,and uses the mathematic model of the coordinated development and calculated method to evaluate development condition between tourism economy and ecological environment in Shanghai from 2000 to 2006.The results show that Shanghai's coordination development degree between the tourism economy and the ecological environment is rising,but in the medium-to-good coordination development class,which doesn't not match with the international metropolis city's position of Shanghai.If we compared the comprehensive function of tourism economy with that of ecological environment,we can find that the construction of ecological environment exceeds the tourism economy development moderately in Shanghai.It means that the ecological environment has an obvious improvement in recent years in Shanghai cit...
