The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is said Third pole of the earth and is an important national ecological security barrier of China.As a result of natural factors and human activities,alpine meadow degradation phenomenon becomes more and more serious.It not only seriously affects the local people's production and life,but also becomes a great threat to the construction and protection of national ecological security barrier.In order to provide the reference basis for the restoration and management of degraded alpine meadow to the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau,the performance and characteristics of alpine meadow degradation,main causes,restoration and management methods are described.
