Theory of Pour Point Depression of Lubricating Oil Caused by Static Electricity

The pour point is one of the generally technical targets evaluating the low-temperature fluidity of lubricating oil.Research found that the pour point would fall after lubricating oil is filtrated.The universal phenomenon is found by testing all sorts of lubricating oils.In order to explain the reason,the theoretical model of pour point depression of lubricating oil caused by static electricity is put forward based on the mechanism of solidification.Through the observing experiments on pour point changing after dealing with the filter paper and oil,the correctness of this theory is proved.It also shows that the static electricity comes from the filter paper.
