HPLC Determination of Rhein in Dabaidu Capsule

Objective:To establish a HPLC method for the determination of rhein inDabaidu capsule.Methods:The chromatographic conditions were Phenomenex ODSC_(18)collumn,mobile phase of methanol-0.4% acetic acid(85:15),flow rate of(1.0)mL/min and detection wave length at 438nm.Results:The standard curve was linear over the range of 0.0415~(0.6640)gwiththe correlation coefficient 0.9999.The average recovery was101.21% with RSD=3.78%(n=5).Conclusion: The HPLC method is sensitive,rapid and accurate.It can be used to control the quality ofDabaidu capsule.
