Clinical and Experimental Study on the Treatment of Cholelithiasis with Danshiqing Tablet

Objective: To study the effect of Su Gan Li Dan therapy for cholelithiasis with Danshiqing tablet(DT).Methods: Clinical and experimental researches were conducted to observe the effect and mechanism of DT, with Xiaoronggandanjieshi Tablet (XT) and ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) as control groups. Results: In animal experiments, DT could not only obviously reduce bilirubin and calciumion concentration in the guinea pig biliary bladder, but also increase bile acid density. In addition, the bile stone formation rate of DT group was significantly lowered. No functional damage of liver or kidney occurred during treatment. In the clinical study, DT could effectively improve clinical symptoms, dissolve and exclude stone. The total effective rate was 92.6 %. Conclusion: Clinical and experimental studies showed that DT could prevent and treat cholelithiasis.
