STUDY ON THE DIVERSITY OF OVERWINTERING SPIDER COMMUNITY IN THE DIFFERENT PADDYFIELD HABITATS OF DONGTING LAKE PLAIN

Twenty one species of spiders, belonging to 16 genera and 8 families, were found in the overwintering rice fields of Dongting Lake Plain. of which, Pirata sabpiraticus and ummeliata insec-ticeps were dominant. The diversity index. species nchneos and individual density of the spider community in the rice field and the bund were mach higher in the diversified habitat compared to the simple habitat.
