Progress in the development of moulded pulp products

The current state and development of moulded pulp products was summarized and discussed.It was suggested that further development and research of molding products should be focused on the relationship between performance and condition,such as the Young modulus,Poison's ratio,shear modulus,the density,temperature,and moisture content of the material.The basic mechanical properties of the unit and the whole structure under static and dynamic loadings should be studied.Modular design method and solutions for the problem of the long design time and the high cost of molding should be worked out.
