Vertical Distributions of Soil Environmental Factors in Ion-type Rare Earth Mining of Southern Jiangxi——A Case Study in Longnan Rare Earth Mining Area

The vertical distributions of soil environmental factors were compared in ion-type rare earth mines before and after in-situ leaching, and the primary limiting factors effecting ecological reconstruction were explored in rare earth mines of South Jiangxi. Test results show that, after in-situ leaching,ash-free dry mass(AFDM),total organic carbon, ammoniacal nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and total nitrogen in soil increased significantly; pH value, microbial biomass carbon and total phosphorus decreased significantly; significant differences of soil environmental factors were found among horizons. The results of principal components analysis inticated that, before treatment, the dominant soil environmental factor in the topsoil is MBC,and that in other horizons(1 ~ 6 m) is pH value; the dominant factor in the topsoil changed to be TOC,and that in the weathered soil(3 ~ 6 m) became soil moisture(SM) and TN.
