Briefs for journal editors and authors regarding selection criteria for inclusion in EI Compendex,counted up the number of papers of Engineering Index in past 5 years in terms of the discipline classification by using EI Compendex as the statistic source,and analyzed the international research focus and changes.The research results are helpful for researchers to follow international science development and to participate in international academic exchanges and competition.
