The Relationship between Integrin β_1 and Tumors

Integrin β1 is a class of adhesion molecules which take intercellular adhesion and mediate the cell-extracellular matrix and cell-cell interactions.Expression of integrin β1 is related to the adhesion and invasion of tumor cells.And the change of it's structure or expression level was concerned with proliferation and apoptosis of cells.Abnormal expression of integrin β1 in the occurrence and development of multiple tumors mediate the invasion,metastasis and diffusion of tumors.Further study of integrin β1 will provide a new idea for the diagnosis and treatment of tumors.
