The effects of the number of lumped-mass n,lattice constant a,composition ratio n,elastic modulus E and the density ρ on the band gap of the 1-D phonon crystals have been studied by using the lumped-mass method. The results showed that the initial frequency of the band gap and the forbidden bandwidth decreased with the increase of the lattice constant a while increased rapidly with the increase of t (t 1).The initial frequency of the band gap decreased with the increases of both the variances of the elastic modulus E and the density ρ while the cut-off frequency of the band gap kept constant. With the increase of the number of lumped-mass n,the accuracy of the band gap increased. Therefore the composite of phonon crystals are designed to shield the low-frequency noise in the range of 59~557 Hz.
