The Research of the Social Adaptive Behavioral Effects of Disabled Orphan in the Mode of Rural Fosterage——Take the Family Fostering-base of Z Village in Ji`nan City as an Example

According to the author's long-time volunteer service of the family foster base in Z village, Tangwang town in Ji`nan and the survey materials collected in July, 2009,the paper explores the social adaptive behavioral effects of disabled orphan in the mode of rural fosterage and its impact on the children's physical and mental development.The study reveals that the simple, natural, warm foster environment of rural area and the caring family atmosphere have a positive meaning for improving the disabled orphan's ADL (activities of daily living) ability, labor skills and mental health development.At the same time, the rural environment also impels them to strengthen their abilities of social adaptive and communication and helps them find the family love and social belonging that once lost.
