Multiple roles of nitric oxide in cancer therapy

A large number of studies have shown that nitric oxide is closely correlated with tumor, not only involved in occurrence and development of tumor, but also widely involved in cancer chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Nitric oxide-related drugs can interfere with tumor growth. This article reviews the recent advances in the role of nitric oxide in cancer therapy. DOI:10.3781/j.issn.1000-7431.2012.01.013
