The review of Liu Shu Tong

Liu Shu Tong is a dictionary about ancient Chinese characters in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty.Previous scholars' evaluation of it is different.This article,combining with the study results of ancient Chinese characters and ancient dictionary,discusses the writing,the spreading of documents and the value of character forms,affirms its learning value and at the same time,points out the existing problems in Liu Shu Tong.
