Preparation of Polyvinyl Pyrrolidone Base Titanate Composite Fiber By Electro-Spinning Route

A polyvinyl pyrrolidone/tetrabutyl titanate composite fiber was prepared by electro-spinning method.The modified activated carbon fiber and PVP-based TiO2-activated carbon fiber were obtained from the PVP/TBT composite fiber through preoxidation at 250℃,carbonation at 600℃,impregnation in phosphoric acid activation at 600℃.The products were characterized and studied by scanning electron microscope,differential thermal-thermo-gravimetry(TG-DTA) and X-ray diffraction.The results show that the obtained activated carbon fiber is well distributed,the diameter range is between 300~500 nm,and the TiO2 in the activated carbon fiber is anatase crystal with photocatalysis properties.
