The Bacterial Endotoxin Test of the Hepatocyte Growth-Promotting Factors Injection (PHGF)

Objective: To establish the bacterial endotoxin test of the hepatocyte growth-promotting factors injection (PHGF). Method: The inhibition or enhancement test about the radix puerariae and sodium chloride injection is determined by using the gel-clot technique and the turbidimetric technique. Results: The endotoxin recoveries are as follows: 5 times(3 μg·mL~(-1))844.0%, 10 times (1.5 μg·mL~(-1))293.0%, 20 times(0.75 μg·mL~(-1))311.0%, 40 times(0.375 μg·mL~(-1))263.0%, 80 times(0.187 μg·mL~(-1))121.0%. Conclusion: The radix puerariae and sodium chloride injection does not contain factors that interfere with the activity of the lysate after dilution.
